Multiple server instances started on a host contrary to configuration constraints

    Details

      Description

      Federation comprises 8 nodes.
      - node-1 configured to run one instance of transaction, load balancer, metadata, jini and zookeeper
      - node-2 and node-3 configured to run one instance of client server each
      - node-4 to node-8 configured to run one instance of data server each

On starting the federation it is found that multiple instances of client server and data server are started on some nodes.

        Fixed in revision #3447.

JiniServiceConfiguration.java was storing a value for the current host's ip address at the time that it was instantiated. That value was subsequently written into a service.config file on another host. This caused the constraint on number of services per host to fail because it, the constraint, filters on ip address of the current host.

The code has been modified to retrieve the value of host ip address at the time that the service.config file is written.
